Our Pre-Foundations program offers an introduction to gymnastics for girls ages 2-5. In Pre-Foundations I girls will work on basic skills such as rolls, spider walks, casting, swings and jumps while learning how to participate in a non-parented class. In Pre-foundations II girls will continue to improve their gymnastic skills while working on more advanced skills such as cartwheels, handstands, pullovers and back hip circle drills. Girls must have completed Pre-Foundations I or equivalent in order to enter Pre-Foundations II.

Our Foundations program offers an introduction to gymnastics for girls ages 4.5-10. This program is designed for girls who have an interest in joining our competitive or interclub programs when ready. Gymnasts will work thru progressions to learn foundation skills on floor, beam and bars which will allow a safe progression towards more advanced skills in the future. These foundation I skills include rolls, bridges, handstands and cartwheels on the floor; balances, locomotions and jumps on the beam; swings, hangs and upper body strength on the bars. Foundations II allows gymnasts the opportunity to continue to build on their Foundation I skills. Girls must have mastered Foundations I in order to enter Foundations II. Once girls have mastered the Foundations II skills they will be moved into a Prep or Team program.

Preparatory: JO 1/2 Prep (ages 5-7) Monday 3:30-5:00pm and Wednesday 3:30-5:00pm
Preparatory: Performance (ages 7+) Friday 5:15-7:15pm

There is no assessment required for entry to our Foundations groups however it is expected that girls are able to behave safely and stay with their coach.
