Foundations
Ages 4.5-11
Our Foundations (non-team) program offers an introduction to gymnastics for girls ages 4.5-11. This program is designed for girls who have an interest in joining one of our Team programs when ready. Gymnasts will work thru progressions to learn fundamental skills on floor, beam and bars which will allow a safe progression towards more advanced skills in the future.
Foundation Level 1/2 skills include rolls, bridges, handstands and cartwheels on the floor, balances, locomotions and jumps on the beam and swings, hangs and upper body strength on bars. Foundations Level 2/3 & Level 3/4 allows gymnasts the opportunity to continue to build and progress on their previous Foundation Level skills.
Girls must have successfully completed Found. Level 1/2 skills in order to enter Found. Level 2/3 and completed Found. Level 2/3 skills to enter Found.Level 3/4. Once girls have mastered the Foundations Level 3/4 skills they will continue their gymnastics instruction as part of either our Interclub, Xcel or CCP Competitive Team Programs.
There is no assessment required for entry to our Foundations groups however it is expected that girls are able to behave safely and stay with their coach.
Foundations Classes: Spring Session (Mar 31st - Jun 20th)

Please note that the age cut-off for our Spring Session is April 6th, 2025. Tuition is amortized for the session and takes into account missed classes due to stat holidays (STAT) and special events (SE) listed below.
NOTE: NO classes on Friday - April 18th (Good Friday), Monday - April 21st (Easter Monday)
and Monday - May 19th (Victoria Day) or Friday June 13th (Special Event) & Monday June 16th (Special Event)
Registration is for the entire 3 month session with tuition broken into 3 equal monthly payments.
***Note: You are responsible for full session tuition. Amortized monthly class tuition listed below.
In the event of unforeseen class cancellation by Synergy, tuition will be put on hold/adjusted accordingly.
Synergy tries to keep class sizes small (6), when possible,
to ensure girls receive the time and attention needed to be successful learning skills but when needed may .
Late Policy: For safety - athletes who are more than 10 minutes late for class may be refused entry to class.

Foundations L1/2 (5-7 yrs) - Tuesday 3:30-4:30 pm - $144.00/mth + tax
Foundation L1/2 (4.5-5.5 yrs) -Wednesday 3:30-4:30 pm - $144.00/mth + tax
Foundation L1/2 (6-8 yrs) -Wednesday 4:30-5:30 pm - $144.00/mth + tax
Foundations L1/2 (5-7 yrs) - Friday 3:30-4:30pm - $121.00/mth + tax

Please note: If class is full, please add athlete to the waitlist. If there is enough interest, room in the schedule and coach availability additional classes may be added :)
All gymnasts are required to have current Gymnastic BC annual membership (September 2024-August 2025). Annual admin fee ($15) and Gymnastics BC Annual Recreational membership + Zone Fees (~$65) will be charged within the 1st month of classes.
In addition to our Foundation classes which run on a session basis, we also offer Team programs for girls of all levels ranging from beginner- advanced.
2023/24 Team Placements & Assessments will be held throughout July - August.
